Albumen print, also known as an albumen silver print, is a photographic printing process that uses egg whites (albumen) to bind light-sensitive silver salts to paper. This method was first published in 1847 by Louis Désiré Blanquart-Evrard and became the dominant form of photographic positive prints from about 1855 until the early 20th century.
